1 General
1.1 These terms and conditions for the Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion form part of the Terms and Conditions for Cars for Cancer Lottery No. 111 Terms and Conditions (Terms). The Mater Foundation general terms and conditions can be found at www.materlotteries.com.au. Entry into the lottery draw(s) and/or promotions detailed in these terms and conditions is deemed acceptance of these Terms and entrants warrant that they are not prohibited from accepting a prize
1.2 The Bonus Raffle is a Trade Promotion within the Cars for Cancer Lottery No. 111 (Cars for Cancer Lottery) under the following permit numbers ACT: TP23/00962
1.3 The lottery is run by Mater Foundation Ltd as trustee for Mater Foundation ABN 96 723 184 640 (Mater Foundation) of 14 Stratton Street, Newstead Qld 4006. The promoter is Mater Foundation Ltd as trustee for Mater Foundation of C/- 14 Stratton Street, Newstead Qld 4006.
1.4 Subject to satisfaction of the eligibility criteria, entry into the Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion Weekly Draws will be automatic for supporters who purchase tickets in the Cars for Cancer Lottery No. 111 within the specified timeframes. The promotion will run on the below dates.
Week 1: Opens 12:01am AEST Tuesday 6 June 2023 and closes 11:59pm AEST Monday 12 June 2023, Drawn 11:00am AEST Wednesday 14 June 2023.
Week 2: Opens 12:01am AEST Tuesday 13 June 2023 and closes 11:59pm AEST Monday 19 June 2023, Drawn: 11:00am AEST Wednesday 21 June 2023.
Week 3: Opens 12:01am AEST on Tuesday 20 June 2023 and closes 11:59pm AEST Monday 26 June 2023, Drawn: 11am AEST Wednesday 28 June 2023
Week 4: Opens 12:01am AEST on Tuesday 27 June 2023 and closes 11:59pm AEST Monday 03 July 2023, Drawn: 11am AEST Wednesday 5 July 2023
1.5 The Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion will be drawn at Mater Foundation Queensland, 14 Stratton street, Newstead, Queensland 4006 or remotely due to COVID restrictions on the stipulated dates
1.6 Winners will be announced on the day of each draw and published on the Mater lotteries website. Winners will be notified via phone and mail.
2 Eligibility
2.1 To be eligible, supporters must have purchased tickets in the Cars for Cancer 111 lottery within the specified promotional period. Each ticket number purchased within the eligible period corresponds to one entry into the Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion for example a 1 ticket is 1 entry and 2 tickets is 2 entries.. Supporters can purchase extra tickets for additional entries. In order to win a weekly prize, a corresponding ticket must be purchased within that week and all eligibility criteria must be complied to.
2.2 If a Cars for Cancer VIP member’s subscription falls due within the promotional period, they will automatically be entered in the corresponding week’s draw. One ticket number corresponds to one entry into the Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion for example 1 ticket is 1 entry and 2 tickets is 2 entries. Cars for Cancer VIP members can purchase additional tickets for additional entries.
2.3 If a supporter’s transaction charges are pending or declined, then those individuals will not be deemed eligible for the purposes of this Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion.
2.4 The promotion will run during the eligibility dates unless Cars for Cancer Lottery No 111 sells out early.
2.5 Entries are open to Australian and foreign residents who are 18 years of age or older, but excludes members of Mater Board members, Mater Foundation employees, all other parties (their employees or agents) associated with data access in connection with the draw administration, and their immediate family. It is the responsibility of all persons who enter the lottery to ensure they are eligible under all applicable laws to accept the prizes offered as part of the lottery
3 Prize
3.1 The Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion prizes:
Week 1: A choice of a $2,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher OR $2,000 BCF Voucher
Week 2: A choice of a $2,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher OR $2,000 BCF Voucher
Week 3: A choice of a $2,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher OR $2,000 BCF Voucher
Week 4: A choice of a $2,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher OR $2,000 BCF Voucher
3.2 Total Value RRP of prizes is $8,000
4 The Bonus Raffle General Details
4.1 Information on how to enter and details of prizes form part of these Terms. Entry into the lottery and/or draw(s) detailed in the terms and conditions is deemed acceptance of these Terms.
4.2 All entries received and processed prior to the closing time are automatically entered into the relevant draw. Only eligible supporters paid for in full will be included in the draw.
4.3 All prizes in the Cars for Cancer No Lottery No. 111 or the Bonus Raffle Trade Promotion are not taxable under the prescribed lottery arrangements. Lottery tickets are not tax deductible. Mater accepts no liability for any tax implications that may arise from winning a prize.
4.4 All travel prizes are booked with economy airfares and all airport taxes are pre-paid. Travel prizes do not include travel insurance, spending money or any other expenses unless otherwise stated.
4.5 All travel prizes must be booked directly with Mater Foundation Queensland’s selected supplier and all travel must be taken within 1 year of the draw date. If the prize details specify when the winner needs to participate, then the holiday must be taken within that time. Unless otherwise restricted by these Terms, travel prizes can be taken at any time of the year, with a preference for off-peak periods. The winner must comply with the terms of the travel centre.
Further travel terms and conditions of the travel agent, and travel providers will apply to the booking and participation of the travel. It is the winner’s sole responsibility and cost to manage any health requirements for travel destinations and ensure that they hold valid passports, visas and re-entry permits associated with the travel. Any fines, penalties, payments or other expenditure is the sole responsibility of the winner.
4.6 Where a prize is or includes gold bullion, the gold is valued at the purchase price on the date of purchase. Selling costs and market variations may apply. Photographs are for illustration purposes only and do not depict the exact prize detail
4.7 Any photographs and props used in this draw are for illustrative purposes only and some staging accessories and decorative items may not be included in the prize.
4.8 Mater Foundation is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of claiming or taking any prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
4.9 If Mater Foundation is unable to provide a winner with the nominated prize, Mater Foundation reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of equal value, subject to any written directions from the relevant State or Territory gaming departments.
4.10 All prize values are listed in Australian currency. All non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash and no prize is transferable
5 Winning tickets and unclaimed prizes
5.1 Winning ticket numbers and winners’ details are validated against records held in the Mater Foundation database and all draws are final.
5.2 Where Mater Foundation Queensland is unable to verify or contact a winner or any prize remains unclaimed after all reasonable attempts have been made to locate or otherwise contact the winner, the prize will be held for 12 months, after which time the Promoter will hold an unclaimed prize draw to select an alternative winner. The unclaimed prize draw will be held on Wednesday 10 July 2024. The alternative winner will be notified in writing within 14 days of the unclaimed prize draw about the amount of the prize and of the time and place at which it may be collected.
5.3 Mater Foundation reserves the right to cancel any draw at any time for any reason subject to any direction under State Regulations.
5.4 Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). Neither Mater Foundation nor the promoter accepts responsibility for change in prize value. Mater Foundation will coordinate all prizes through their specified suppliers.
6 Privacy
6.1 The Mater Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. Mater Foundation collects, uses and discloses personal information in order to perform its functions and activities in accordance with our charitable objectives. Unless you choose to opt out, Mater Foundation may contact you about our campaigns, and provide you with promotional material or sponsor offers. Services may be rejected if requested information is not provided.
